Lawrence is licensed with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and certified through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University, in August, 2016.

His opportunities for internship while in school were incredible experiences, and included Pathways Health Crisis Resource Center, The Aliveness Project, Pillsbury House Integrated Health Clinic, Cerenity Senior Care, and the De Rusha Clinic. From his experiences in his internships, Lawrence has an affinity for treating people with a lot of stress in their lives, and has found that treating the stress can fundamentally improve the health of his patients. Having spent most of his adult life without health insurance, making healthcare affordable is very important to him, and providing community style as an additional method of treatment, helps to give access to care for more people.

While his first love is acupuncture, his second love is music.Being a musician, Lawrence understands how important it is to be always at the peak of your craft. He loves to make certain that musicians, and other artists, are at their top performance level, and looks forward to treating local musicians, to help them be ready for their next project.

What Our Clients Are Saying

I have struggled with anxiety and digestion issues for the past couple years. I have tried medications, changing my diet, and exercises and nothing has really helped. Doing acupuncture with Lawrence has been a huge game changer with my overall health. My anxiety attacks used to be so bad that I couldn't sleep that well. I would highly recommend seeing Lawrence if you're looking to decrease stress, pain, anxiety and for overall health in general!
